Welcome!

My name is Anam Iqbal. I was born in Paris and raised in London, however I’ve always remained very close to my South Asian roots. I hold a bachelor's degree from UCL (University College London) and a MSc in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford.

Alongside having studied a discipline that analyses the nature of humanity in multitudinous ways, I’ve spent most of my life in London's deeply multicultural society and learnt much about people by simply looking around me. This interest manifested in the form of reading and writing, which is my greatest passion.

As somebody with a keen interest in art and creativity, I also enjoy videography and content creation, which is expressed on my various social media channels, such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

This blog is a personal digital space I use to express myself and share my thoughts. A variety of mediums are used: blogposts, book reviews and short stories.
